There are four airports that service the Niagara region:

Buffalo-Niagara Falls International Airport
New York, located at Genesee Street and Cayuga Road, is the closest airport to the region. Buffalo International has an average of 110 daily flights with non-stop service to 18 cities. It is approximately 25 miles/ 40 kilometres from the city of Niagara Falls. Shuttle bus services to Niagara Falls, Ontario are available for a fee. Hamilton International Airport
Aproximately 45 miles from downtown Hamilton. It is located at 9300 Airport Road in Mount Hope. For general information please call 905-679-1999, or e-mail info@flyhi.ca

Niagara District Airport
This airport also handles commercial flights, however, it is much smaller than the other 3 airports listed here. It is located at 468 Niagara Stone Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake. For airport information please contact 905-684-7447.

Pearson International Airport
Toronto’s airport has airline connections with most major airports in the United States and around the globe. It is approximately a 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. The airport is accessible from highways 401, 427 and 409. For airport information contact 1-866-207-1690.

Taxi, limousine, and bus service are available from most of these airports, and there are also several car rental chains that have outlets at each of these airports. However, it is recommended that you book a rental car before you arrive in the region to avoid delays and disappointments.
