Ranked as one of the top twenty public golf courses in Canada, Legends on the Niagara offers golf enthusiasts an unparalleled golfing experience. Located on a 700-acre property, along the scenic Niagara River Parkway, Legends is made up of two 18-hole championship courses, which offer visitors both a picturesque and challenging golfing experience.
The courses were designed by two of Canada’s leading golf architects, Doug Carrick and Thomas McBroom. Carrick designed the north course named Battlefield after the legendary battle which took place on the land adjacent to the course during the War of 1812. This course features a 19-acre man-made lake, and offers views of Niagara Falls from the thirteenth hole. Golfers of all playing abilities will enjoy it this challenging course.
The South Course is named Ussher’s Creek, after the creek that meanders through six holes on the course. Designed by Thomas McBroom, the course showcases the beauty of the surrounding landscape, and features holes that are carved from the surrounding woodlands. The course is made up of a series of water, links-style and woodland holes, along with scenic tree lined fairways.
Legends also offers its guests a 45-acre 360-degree driving range, an 18-hole putting course surrounded by a moat, and the Jim McLean Golf School. The club’s impressive clubhouse offers guests a lovely view of the 19-acre man made lake on the property. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner specials in the lounge bar or dining room.
