Vineland Estates Winery is an exceptional destination winery offering a renowned wine and culinary experience in an idyllic setting. With its award-winning VQA wines, gourmet restaurant with patio, wine boutique, Carriage House for elegant functions and bed and breakfast, Vineland Estates offers its guests the ultimate wine-country experience. Established in 1998 this elegant winery is one of the pioneers of Niagara’s wine industry and is one of the largest wineries in the area. An array of grape varietals are grown in Vineland Estates 250-acres of vineyards, including, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Merlot, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. Producing some of the best Riesling in the area, the winery is also well-known for its exceptionally rich Chardonnay’s, fine Pinot Blanc, world-renowned Icewines and Bordeaux style reds.
Enjoy the picturesque views of the vineyards, Lake Ontario and its shorelines from the winery’s prestigious 4-Diamond fine-dining restaurant, which offers local gourmet cuisine perfectly paired with Vineland Estates fine wines.
Visitors are welcome to tour the Estate vineyard on their own or join an informative public tour, which includes the Estate vineyards, the Cellars as well as the production areas.
The winery’s tasting room and wine boutique is located in a beautifully renovated old barn, which has been converted to match the architecture of the existing buildings. Visitors are encouraged to sample and enjoy the full range of Vineland Estates award-winning fine wines in the winery’s large tasting bar. An historic 1857 stone carriage house is available for elegant banquets. The Carriage House seats up to 56 guests and offers enchanting views of the lush vineyard and Lake Ontario.
Vineland Estates also offers two private facilities for guests to enjoy. Visitors can stay in the enchanting bed and breakfast cottage on the vineyard grounds, or in the spacious three bedroom Estate Guest House. Please call ahead for reservations to avoid disappointment.
