Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery is a world-class winery offering its visitors an exceptional wine and culinary experience. Seated on the famed Beamsville Bench, an area considered by many in the wine industry to be one of the best grape growing regions in Canada, the winery has 40-acres of vineyards with one of the largest plantings of Syrah in the region. Peninsula Ridge utilizes the best of new age technology paired with old world tradition to craft premium VQA wines of distinction. The winery is well-known for their classic Burgundy-style white wines, Bordeaux style reds and Syrah wines.
Experience fine-dining at its best in the winery’s highly rated restaurant, which is located in a beautifully restored Queen-Anne revival Victorian home. The restaurant offers exceptional seasonal cuisine paired exquisitely with Peninsula Ridges fine wines. The winery’s outdoor patio offers magnificent views of Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment and surrounding lush vineyards.
The winery’s tasting bar and retail shop are located in a restored post-and-beam barn built in 1885. Visitors are encouraged to taste the winery’s fine selection of premium wines, which are available for purchase in the winery’s retail shop. Comprehensive tours of the facilities are complementary and include a visit to their impressive underground cellar.
