This family owned and operated winery is located on the Vineland Bench, a prime grape growing region on the Niagara Escarpment, and has continually produced award-winning VQA wines. Kacaba’s vineyards are planted with Bordeaux grapes and one of the first plantings of Syrah grapes in Ontario. The winery believes that exceptional wine starts in the vineyard, and that is why they hand-harvest their grapes, and do not use insecticides or herbicides on their grapes. Kacaba concentrates on producing small quantities of ultra-premium wines, which can be enjoyed at the winery’s intimate tasting room daily.
