The Pumphouse Visual Art Centre is located in a restored 1891 water pumping station on the shores of the Niagara River and offers exhibitions by contemporary visual artists working in a number mediums. The Riverbrink- Samuel E. Weir Gallery houses an eclectic collection and library of unique Canadian and international historical fine art. Specializing in works that capture the history of the Niagara Region, the gallery features portraits of the area’s founders, as well as Canadian paintings, old Quebec silver, Indian artifacts, War of 1812 pieces, and French Impressionist works.
